There is not really much of anything close by. Utopia and Leakey are the closest towns. They usually have a food vendor (scout troop) that serves breakfast tacos, burgers, ect. on site. The food has always been very good.

I've eaten at Leakey a handful of times. There are a few different restaurants there that are pretty good and I believe there is a BBQ joint if memory serves me right. We really like the little Mexican place there called Mamma Choles.

The drive there is about 25 minutes but its VERY scenic around the mountain curves.
