RMR cover screw trouble. any suggestions

Bought a (used)VDI slide a while back. shot it and had no problems. went to take the RMR cover off one day. First screw came off fine but on the other, the head of the allen wrench broke off in the screw. Im stuck. dont want to make things worse. Any suggestions?

will try that. about to pull out the dremel and go to town on the plate. not worried about saving the cover at this point

You will probably need to get a small punch, possibly a center punch and a hammer. Then try hitting the broken bit off center, trying to turn the bit the opposite direction you were turning it, when it broke. Once you break it free, you should be able to just roll it over and the bit should fall out you may need to slap it with your had or light hammer taps just to jiggle it loose.
