Shed hunt broke out in a pig killin

Decided to walk some woods out and exercise the Jack Russell

Grabbed the 300BO pistol out of the safe because I never go out any more not prepared to shoot a pi if the opportunity arises

Had been making my way up a creek and the little ball of energy lit out. Then I heard the pigs grunting/growling and see a white blur zipping around and getting closer with a pig right on his tail. Almost like he was playing with it because he was not running as fast as he can.
When I got a chance I put the red dot on it and let one fly, then 2-3 more in quick succession as it now was more intent on getting out of there with the tasmanian devil nipping it's heels

Let him take out his aggression on the now dead pig a couple minutes then rounded him up and headed on up the creek.
Started circling back and came up on a steep sided ditch about 6' deep and he flushed another one out
Popped her and then found she had some piglets with her. Finished the 2 off and then stepped on the 3rd headed out of the ditch. Was buried up in some leaves and vines. Killed it and looked for more but couldn't find any

Congrats! Sounds like a fun (and productive) day, but did you find any sheds?

Should have kept one for a pet!
Your dog could have raised it.

Negative, but I didn't start looking with high expectations either

Don't need anything that I have to bottle feed

You sure eliminated the pig factories.

Saw 10 bucks in bachelor group this morning in Leon Co

                    Only one had shed.

You got one good hog dog there.

He has a decent nose but would rather rip and run and sight hunt than sniff one out

He does provide a distraction though

Is insanity a genetic trait for JRTs?
