Very Impressed Rave on feeder Motor

I had a feeder motor go down, and They had a couple cheepos in the feed store and a couple Monarchs, Well I have never like the N battery issue, and they seem to die in the most inappropriate time.
    So I see a 12 volt set-up, kinda a square box look,
get to looking no N battery, so I get it, and all goodies to convert.
I get it on the drum, and all set, hit test.. Holy crap, dont stand close, it throws approx 20 feet out of the pen, and its a large pen.( approx 40ft across ). and stings like a wasp hit you.. Great feeder Motors...
It will also allow the younger deer to feed out of the feeder..

Good deal. You can thank your spinner plate for the long throw. Must be one of the diamond shaped plates. Think they're called a tornado or something like that.

Monarch brand, Sold in a lot of feed stores, and outlet in Arlington Texas..

and the Monarch times have had whats called a 1.5 volt N battery to keep timer clock running separate from feeder motor battery

12 Volt is the only way to go.

Looks like the cows will not have to climb in the pen to get a little gold snack.

I bought a 6 volt Monarch setup at the TTHA show in Ft. Worth in 1999. It's still going strong. I've never had one issue with it. The timer battery is still original. I change the motor battery every two or three years. Even the barrel and legs are still in good shape.
