Spring time Crappie

Who all has been hunting down some good ol shallow slabs?

Finished tying up some jigs and got a bunch from my girlfriends dad. Ready to get after them along with the bass!

Haven't had much luck at Lake Lewisville and surrounding creeks. Catch 2 or 3 and then the gars move it and it's all over.

I'll be hitting my favorite brush piles on lavon and Ray hubbard. Absolutely slaughtered them last year and ready to get after them again since the freezer has been empty.

I want to give them a try out on fork as well cause I know it's good out there but I've always just bass fished out there.

Spent these past 2 weeks tearing up the bass, bed fishing and I've had my fill of it.

Just got unpacked at the camp. Hopefully going to find a few in the am. Been too busy to fish this year.

Caught some whites on Granger last night but didn't find the crappie

Still spotty here. Only caught two yesterday, but the cold front was blowing in.

Ended up w 22 in 4.5 hours. Nothing big. Mostly just keepers. Had one 1.5lbs. Enough for fresh fried fish for w get together this eve.
