He made it : How old do you think he is?

Well, I have seen this deer 3 times during season, but he has stayed in the brush or behind a tree. Now that the general season is over, he shows to the feeder. Hopefully he can make it another week and get through youth season.

How old do you think he is? This is a low fence, 52 acre deer. Any guesses? Thanks.

I’m going with 5.5. He looks to “short” to be 4.5. Pretty well built around his neck

End of season aging is tough due to conditions and rut. My opinion is he is older than 3 1/2 and younger than 6 1/2......

I struggle with telling 4 1/2 from 5 1/2

Dude! None of us know what we are talking about, its just a guess for the most part. Especially with a deer like that. Here it is post-rut, post-season and he looks terrific! Excellent shape and healthy. He is mature.

Oh wait! Camera stamp says Nov 20....no wonder he looks so good!
