    Make AR ???

Will this guy make AR? I believe he should, but I could be wrong.... I say 13.5"

Is there a rule of thumb that uses eye-to-eye width or something where you can't see the 2nd ear?

He would be sooooooo close and you have to allow for ground shrinkage. (This happens to almost all bucks. He is smaller than he looks at the feeder.) He will be a lot better deer next year if he can survive.

Here is the view rotated to square.

He is alert, and outside the ear, and more than 2.5 years old (IMHO).....

                  Gotta be 13.5".....

Concentrate on the DOE and you can get this guy next year- he's a squeaker.

I don't think he makes it.... and for what its worth, he's also the exact buck (young/immature) AR is in place to protect.
