It was a rough one out here last night. It was a miracle we didn't flood. The rain just wouldn't stop. Fences had to be t9rn down to let water out. The only thing that saved us was when it slacked off around 130 or 2am.

The Port Arthur pumps failed last night. Fire dept broke into the bowling alley and used it for shelter for folks who were rescued. They lost 6 emergency response vehicles. They just used what they had and did the best they could. The locals came through with boats. Helicopters have been going strong all day.

We evacuated our house here in port Neches to my in laws to there 2 story home also in port neches.. I feel terrible my boat is still at my house in Mont Belvieu, haven't been able to get to it.
