    This is how we tune them. It's more of a point and shoot thing. You'll get the feel of it pretty quick.

      If you really are worried about shooting accurately, hook your reel up and tune it with the arrow tied on. If you are shooting a spin cast reel (Muzzy, Zebco, etc.) Tuning the reel is much more important thab thw rest. I normally set up a fishing whisker biscuit with a bare aluminum shaft to be ball park then polish everything inside the eeel so the fiberglass shaft makes bullet holes in the water with minimal splash.         Thanks for all the responses. Ill try the superglue trick. I just got the reel put on the bow this weekend and will try shooting it with the string attached. I have shot quite a few fish with the old style drum and string but I have the AMS reel on my new set up and wanted to try and get it shooting as good as possible. Maybe I will be able to post some dead fish pics soon.
