A few buddies of mine hunt on a property just outside of Sheffield. A few weeks back we were all down there and, as always, I took my popup blind in an effort to shoot something with my bow (typically a doe). The last day they set me up on a high traffic feeder, where a dry riverbed runs alongside a rock bluff. To preface my story, this lease is so jammed full with deer (it’s 40k+ acres) that you always see several deer during each sit. That said, I didn’t see anything but a couple birds that evening. When my buddies picked me up, I told them that I didn’t see a single deer. One of them made the comment that the only explanation was a gato. Well, looks like he might have been right. This was taken from the feeder I was hunting.
I think the times are off but the dates are correct.
