Last 3 swordfish trips

In the last 3 trips we have put 5 on the deck and lost another one on the leader after a 4 1/2 hr fight. We are having a good time experimenting with different spots and different techniques. I’m looking forward to some calm summer months so we don’t have to get beat up for 85 miles.

In only a few more weeks I will be taking Richard (rtp) the winner of the charity auction and I can’t wait.

I do like fishing the east breaks. Lots of life there with the right currents.

We caught one smaller wahoo around 30 pounds and caught a nice Aj at baker. Had a billfish come up and flip a bait but it was gone as fast as he showed up. Had a big white marlin put on a big jumping show in front of the boat about 100-150 yards dang thing jumped completely outta the water like 10-15 times. Also saw a big group of tuna blowing up and going crazy about 300 yards away but by the time we got everything switched over to tuna stuff they were gone. Had a eventful day just not a lot to show for it lol. We mainly went out to break in the new boat my buddy just got.
