    Carne asada here.
Yoder is the Bentley of pellet grills. If you can swing it I don’t think you can get any better.

I’m thinking of selling the 40” masterbuilt smoker I just bought and getting a pellet grill. The Cabela’s ones, Camp chef and pit boss have my eye right now

We are in the same boat. I've been researching all of them. Right now I'm leaning toward a Rec Tec. Tough decision.

I’ve got a pit boss 820 I believe and it awesome, love just being able to turn it on and let it do it’s thing. I may have to look into these smoke tubes though, sounds interesting.

It is truly a set it and forget it. One recommendation I would give is to get a smoke tube for added smoke when doing traditional BBQ like brisket and pork butts.
I agree about the smoke tube, get two if you like more smoke.

All pellet and electric smokers are only intermittent smoke. Bought an Amazen 18” smoker tube. Fill it with pellets light it and voila constant smoke and nice rings. I don’t even have a gas grill anymore after buying mine

What exactly does a smoke ring taste like?

My dad recently turned me on to a wood pellet grill. As a competition cook i have to say, i LOVE IT! You should make sure you are performing the proper maintenance on them. Other than that they are great and not to much of a difference. Also, more convenient to try different types of smoke.

Go put your hands on all of them, it will help in your decision. Yoder is built like a tank!

You won't regret it. My stick burner never gets used anymore. Yoder is one of the best out there and for the money Rec Tec is one of the best.
