if you turn the barrel back .03-.04" and ream the chamber, you can rechamber your 280 to 280 ai. Imo, would be a much better decision than buying a lower quality gun in a caliber that is just ok, but marketed out the wazoo to be "cool."

I can't imagine why anyone would sell a browning .280 to buy a fad rifle.

This! That 280 is superior to the 6.5 creedmore in every way. But to each his own.

This gets my vote as well. Or do a full re-barrel and slap new glass on it. Would be a totally new gun, plus you can still shoot standard 280 in a pinch.
