It's a film camera, and appears old ish

I had one several years ago, but got rid of it when I went digital. It's a good camera. Not real fancy, but it'll take pictures.

You can use the lens on a digital body.

I'll add that if you do get a canon digital keep this lens. It's always good to have a lens that you don't mind getting dirty at the beach.
