I haven't been at all yet. Zach hurt his shoulder in football right before opening weekend. He couldn't shoot, so we stayed home. He's just about over that now. Hoping he can draw a bow tomorrow afternoon. Maybe we'll get a chance to shoot a dove before it ends.

I had a great dove season personally. My favorite season of the year. A few hunts were marred by rain but when we got out it was plentiful shooting..

North Zone opener... My limit with some bonus eurasians

My hunt with FND after our fishing event. Our first hunt was canceled due to rain but we waded through ankle deep mud on Sat to get two limits scraped out. This was a fun hunt except the mud.

We had a great South Texas dove opener weekend hunt. If you didn't limit it was because you couldn't shoot... our place just produces year after year for our family and friends.

Not I. A foot of rain over the past 2 weeks has them scattered to the 4 winds. I'll take the rain though!

That was a good litter for sure and some good looking dogs. Good to see Tess's siblings are doing well.

Gotta love them collared dove

Opening weekend killed 80 something between 3 shooters near Abilene but after that slowed way down and haven't got close to a limit again.

Yes I love them. I pass up countless mourning dove and white wing. We've broke 100 nearly every time we go.

Went deer hunting for the first time this morning and after going by the camp house to pick a couple of things up decided it was too hot to slow cook like a brisket and decided to go dove hunting. A fairly quick limit then my 6yr old started shooting. (Yes he skipped school). And in about 20 opportunities with a single shot 410 connected on his first dove..
