                  Great journey with him. You were blessed to have crossed paths like you did with him. I don't think I could have shot him after that length of time.

                    Sorry you did not get your shot at a tremendous animal!!!. Thanks for sharing the pics and story. Those are the real heartbreaks of land stewardship with managment as the focus.

                              No, never had it in the 9 years I have had the ranch. I believe he either broke his leg somehow or got injured fighting and the coyotes finished him off.
                              His teeth showed him to be much younger than he was.
