First rifle my dad bought me. Winchester 30-30. Sold it for $150 in high school. That was about 24 years ago. Regretted every since. Contacted the guy I sold it to about 5 years ago to try and buy it back, but he had gotten rid of it several years earlier and couldn’t remember who he had sold it to.

My first truck. 1975 Ford Ranger. Was Barney purple when my dad bought for me for $800. Put a midnight blue metallic paint job on it , wheels and tires etc. was a fine ride and everybody in my high school loved it. Sold it 1 year later for $3500. Wish I still had it

Only one...

From '85-'88 I restored a 1970 Fastback Mustang to a BOSS replica with enough engine to pass the test. Guy that bought it sold it to a resident in a community I work. I'll see him cruising on nice days. It's still the same, except for the carb. He pulled the Holley 750 and opted for a smaller with auto-choke.

I was young, just out of the Marine Corps....needed money and pawned (for next to nothing) one of the original Remington Sendero's in the hard as hell to find .270 Winchester.
Makes me sick thinkin about it. Appreciate it bro

Hocked a Chinese SKS to my first wife's Dad for $90 in 1972. I told him I would be back in a month to pick it up. When I came back with the money a month later he had sold it.

The SKS came from a big cache of weapons that we had captured in 1970 in Cambodia. The Army gave every grunt in our company a SKS and shipped them home for us. I still get ****** off when I think about it.

I had a really good collection of vintage surfboards. Slowly over the years sold all except 2. I’ll Never be able to get back the collection I had but back then I would buy them, ride em for a while and then sell or trade. 30s-mid 60s stuff mostly

1956 Ford f-100 that my buddies and I turned in to a rat rod, got a great offer on it one day and took it

Every gun I’ve ever sold

Such a cool year and distinct look don't see many of them
Was a project I couldn't afford to finish on a full time students budget bought it on the north side of Houston for $500 with a title by knocking on someone's door. Sold it in college. Made money off of it but that car was worth alot more than I sold it for and would look awesome in my garage now.it was an old faded yellow with the black boss stripes bought it around 03-04 sold in 06 or so.

I had a little single shot 22. Can’t remember the brand. It was bolt action and could shoot shorts. Redid the finish on it to a hand rubbed oil finish. Man I killed some squirrels with it traded it for a 410 crack barrel that’s a POS. Sure wish I could remember who I traded with. Think it was a 3rd person trade.

My first truck. 2001 Ram 1500 4x4. Had it repainted, roll bar in the bed. Everyone who saw the truck knew it was mine. Engine was going out and I sold it instead of swapping a new one in. It popped up about 6 months ago with rebuilt engine and transmission for less money than I sold it for, didn't have the money to buy it back at the time though.

The guns:

A Smith and Wesson Model 53 in .22 Jet bought when I was 16 years old. Paid $91.14 for it at Higginbotham Pearlstone Hardware in Dallas. Dammit !

A Remington Model 11 in 12 gauge that I refinished myself. The best cold blue job I ever saw ! Oil finish on the stock after steaming out the dents. It almost looked new. I was around 18 at the time.

A Savage 99 in .300 Savage with a tang mounted peep. Killed a few deer in the Hill Country with that one. About 18/19 years old at the time.

Y'all sensing a pattern here ? I would and could go on but I don't know how waterproof this iPad is.............

74 Nova.
Too many old guns to count.
Shoe boxes full of old baseball cards from the 60’s and 70’s that my mom sold at a garage sale thinking they were just old junk. It included a baseball Ted Williams signed and gave me for shagging foul balls at a Texas League All Star game.

A 94’ gmc z71. Not that I loved the truck that much but I basically worked my tail off for the money to buy it. Then when I went to buy it from my stepdad he basically said we would call it even for all the extra help I had done deckhanding for him all summer.
