      My neighbor did the same as you--works great. I took a different approach--I built my garage to fit my boat!! It's overkill, but that sucker's already so full of stuff I can't get the boat out! lolol

          Looks better than what a friend of mine did. Take out boat, drink beer, don't catch any fish, Back boat up till engine ends up in the kitchen. Tell wife i don't know how that happened.

                        I had a similar problem but I fixed it but slidding the boat as up the trailer as possible with it still begin able to turn behind the truck. But you idea seem like it works as well
