Knives for members

Here are two knives I made for a couple of TBH people I thought I'd bring to show-n-tell because I really like them. The Damascus knife has a crazy pretty piece of desert Ironwood. The other one has a buffalo horn handle, mesquite bolsters, and red liners.

That damascus is gorgeous. How did you get it to shine like that? Both are excellent.

I had to get the light just right.

you're gonna have to share how you get that finish on your handles.....

I sanded them to 2000 grit, then buffed them with white polishing compound. I also put four coats of tru-oil on the buffallo/mesquite handle.
