Turned out nice! How hard is the finished scale?

Since I stabilized it I can say hard as stone. I have a good bit set aside that is stabilized and some drying. It takes time to go from 33% to zero with ought cracking and warping.

Here is a coupe of pieces I have stabilized and set aside.

A long vacuum process that uses vacuum to draw a co polymer resin into the wood and then heat treat.
