Somehow they both got some type of fever Thursday night so they missed school Friday and I decided to take them to Leon County for some fresh air.
We had plenty of action but the right buck didn’t come around and give us an opportunity. My youngest son Tripp shot his first hog and according to him it is probably the biggest boar ever shot in Texas and he thinks it weighed 40 hundred pounds and of course I think he’s right! My oldest son Kody who has recently decided girls are a thing in life actually made time to hang out with me this weekend which was nice. We cut up and carried on and even had cookies and candy for breakfast. I even made them hug for a picture. Nothing but good times and making lasting memories. They grow up too fast!
