ATV all in one plow/planter. ???

Land Pride FPS 48. Do they work ? I've looked online and they run near $2400.

An old buddy called up needing some $$$ and wants to sell his for near 1/2 that. It's 2 yrs old and used 2wice.

The places I hunt are real sandy. I'm thinking if I mowed and sprayed a couple weeks prior, it might do all right. Especially if I put weight on it.

    Anyone on here tried one?

If it’s sandy soil you shouldn’t need weight. That might in fact do more harm than good

Had a buddy that had one similar and it worked fine.
Should be good in sandy soil.

Not a landpride but I use a Plotmaster by Tecomate and it works very well.

Looks nice but doesn't look like it would hold up very well

                Depends on your soil

I dont see how something that small and light could turn dirt over.

Ideal for a small plot. It will put ur four wheeler through it’s paces

Brand new idea..sling seed on lightly worked soil

In the sandiest of soils, if properly mowed and sprayed it might work ok, but it still seems that the spreader is throwing seed on soil that the packer has already passed over

I've been using a fairly heavy 3 pt tandem disc like this one.
I converted mine to a tongue pull and even add about 50# to it. The mule pulls it great.

But mines about worn out and it's a pain slinging seed by hand.

And I usually just run over the seed w/o weight on to cover the seeds but I think it covers a lot of them too deep.

Seems like this setup would give me more even coverage.....

Dissing even with out weight covers most seed way too deep.

The rig you picture does the opposite, it throws lots of seed on ground that has already been packed
