Default Generator aux.tank

Has anyone built an auxiliary fuel tank for a Ryobi RYi2200 or something similar?
Just picked up this Ryobi today. Deal was to good to pass up, but I know the small fuel tank won't make it through the night.

We used to run the 6 gallon boat gas tanks with a fuel line bypassing the stock tank. Disconnect the stock fuel line from stock tank, get a longer piece of fuel line and run straight to bigger tank

Do you have to elevate tha tank above the generator, or will it pull out of the tank if it's lower?

Depends on the generator. Some aux setups require a fuel pump be installed. You need to know more about your specific generator.

Ryobi has a fuel pump I believe. I am looking into the aux tank as well.
