    Hand, Foot, and Mouth

Our 11 month old has it and is feeling pretty miserable.

The doctors say it has to run its course. Online remedies show mixing Maalox, Benadryl, and Water in a 3:2:1 mixture is helpful.

    Any other home remedies?

I had it once as an adult. 104.5 fever. I've never felt worse

One of our crib midgets took down the whole house and half the daycare room with it last year. It sucks, but it's a stomach bug with sores for a bonus.

Most awful virus my kids ever got. Our doc prescribed liquid codeine for the pain.

this, although lots of pediatricians probably won't do it, mine did.

Son got it then gave it to me. It sucks. Didn't get the sores on my feet but did on my hands and it hurt to use them. My son had em on his feet and wouldn't walk very much. Not much u can do though except let it run its course.

I caught it last year. Miserable describes it completely. It was on my hands and feet. Had to let it do its thing.

Sounds aweful, poor baby.. take care of him good.

                  What causes this disease?

                    It's just a virus.

My daughter got it a few months back from daycare... not sure what momma did but she didn't ever seem to be in much pain from it.

Have to let it run its course they say.

I've never heard of it and dang sure hope I don't get it.

                        How long does it last?

My daughter...almost 2 now...brought it home from daycare nearly monthly. I caught it once..spiked a high fever, and had the worst sores in my mouth...hurt worse than strep throat. Had these little blisters on my toes too that felt like scorpion stings too.

Cant imagine how little kids feel with it.

I've had it twice, once from each kid. Second time was worse than the first. Went through a whole bottle of throat numbing spray in about 2 days. Felt like a wuss as my two year old was handling it better than I was.

Not to make light of the situation at all, but this is the funniest description for toddlers I have ever heard! Well played Sir!!!
