Black Pigment Largemouth

I've caught plenty of black bass in my lifetime. I haven't seen anything like this. This fish was caught in a pond yesterday about 2pm.

Hopefully some of yawl will have clue what's going on here?!

I have never seen anything like that either. I have seen them very white from the water being very stained, but never black like that. Pretty cool though! Fish looks healthy.

Deepest part of pond is 20ft. Has great vegetation and cover. All other bass, crappie and catfish are very health looking.

Never seen a bass like that before. I've shot several spotted gar with a bow that were really dark,almost black. I don't know what did it to them but they weren't like most I've seen.

Hope you released him unharmed, BBLM...........black bass lives matter. Never seen any think like it either, very cool.
