I saw one yesterday near 59 and Jensen Drive in NE Houston just yesterday.

Pretty much have them year round in the creek behind my house. Several roost in the hollows of some old oak trees in the yard.

They clean my feeder out before the deer can get to them. Hate them

Have a flock of the corn thieves visit my feeder a few times a week.

Down here on the coast they never leave. Every body of water that doesnt get hunted is full of them. They're in town, on golf courses, even in our plant. They live in our ditches and raise their young there.

Should have a season for them to run concurrent with squirrel and coyote season.

TP&W asked USF&W to open the season on them concurrent with the September teal season, and their response was that as non hunters they didn't want to fund the studies that would be necessary to overcome the law suits that would be brought by their anti-hunting brothers...
