    Ground Blind Platforms Question

I am going to build a couple ground blind platforms and need a little input. Planning these to be about 6x6 and will look a little like this one, just not as tall. I am thinking these will be about 2-3 feet tall, just enough to keep the snakes out and get me above the brush in the area I am hunting.

My question is should I use plywood floor or expanded metal on the floor?

The last ones I built I put plywood with carpet and they worked fine. I was thinking about going with expanded metal and carpet floor this time and would like input. IF expanded metal what size?

    What say you guys?????????????

Id would want wood. Wouldn't want to deal with the sag over time. And it's easier to throw a sheet of plywood when the plywood rots

I'm building one now and I plan to use treated plywood covered with outdoor carpet. My thought is will be less noisy. Also, it is easy to anchor it down with deck screws and fender washers.

Here's one I made out of mostly treated wood. In hindsight I would make the ladder differently (put an angle on it instead of straight up).
