    He Showed Back Up

Every year for the last 3 years this buck has been my target buck. I had him in bow range one time in 2016 and never he presented a shot. He always shows up around late Aug to mid Sept and I will have pics of him off and on all season and then he disappears around late Jan. I have never gotten a pic of him while growing through the summer but he shows up like clock work. I believe he is at least 7 yrs old maybe older. Last year he broke off his left brow tine. I checked cards this past weekend and bam there he was after not a sign of him all summer. I have put in countless hours chasing this buck. Some hunts I stayed in the tree from 5 am till dark. I hope this is the year I can seal the deal with him. and yes this is in East Texas

Sleep in your stand, that’s what some people say works.

I for one, think it’s stupid.

I wont sleep in tree lol, but I have been there from sun up to sun down more than once. Notice the daylight pic of last year. 12 noon.

Stud! I hope he cooperates. Sometimes those old guys start thinking about corn more than the does.

Deer often move from their summer range to their winter range...this guy has proven that theory. Good luck on him.
