We got in around 4 yesterday afternoon. After 4 hours of driving thru the Ozarks in heavy rain the clouds parted long enough to get a few shots of our VRBO rental. This is home for the next few days!! I'm out here with my Uncle and all his boys to celebrate the life of my grandfather. 3 days of trout fishin is upon us!!!

The drive was horrible!! Driving in heavy rain from Little Rock to here. I plan on taking my time on the way out to take in the view.

Man that river is great!

I know it sounds nuts, but fish for big Browns at night. They are more active feeding after dark and it is really not that hard to maneuver in the river as long as they are not generating.

For years we made the drive every year with our family!!
Went in the late 60’s and early 70’s as a kid with the family my grand parents would meet us at a camp sight and we would fish for 8-10 days what a blast it was.!!!

Looks like it might not get out of the 70s up here, today. Should be perfect fishing weather. Tomorrow shows 85 so not horrible, especially not on the water.

I went over to Norfork and caught some decent fish last weekend. Drifting sowbugs under an indicator. Hope y’all have good luck
