The material, material thickness and width will drive how stout the brake will need to be. I was able to bend 0.080 steel diamond plate for my UTV roof by scoring with a cutoff wheel and using a brake that was kluged together. Might also consider a press brake with hydraulic jacks.

I'm looking at being able to bend 4' sheets of 14ga and 16ga.
