I noticed that the rubber seal around the door of our washer was getting nasty. I imagine there are quite a few people with LG front load washers, so I wanted to share my experience.

I will add a few details you should know. You can get the spring clamps off with a screwdriver, but you need the spring expansion tool to get them back on. Problem is the spring expansion tool is about $60-$90 depending on where you can find it. I have some older snap ring pliers I was able to use.
