Turned out good, (word of caution) put an extra coat of paint on it after sealing up edges with caulk, also get some thin angle flashing to build drip rails over the door & windows. This will help keep moisture out of that particle board. Also some roll roofing from Home Depot for the top. Lightweight & inexpensive.

Thanks for the info Hollywood..those are all good tips. I did put a couple base coats of paint on it before doing the camo job to help the OSB last a while. I used a single piece of masonite for the top, and used that on a previous blind which has held up very well. I do think I will need to get some type of drip rail going for the windows and doors. I also have a set of "off season covers" that will cover the plexi glass window openings during the off season. This is important because the place where we hunt has grazing cows that roam about. Why the covers you ask....because without them, the cows tend to push in on the plexiglass from time to time and break it or push the window off the tracks.
The best part of our blind was that we had PLENTY of room to stretch out while hunting , and my 11 year old son was able to get his buck out of that blind already this year! I'll take a few pictures of the blind "on location" and a few of his buck the next time we download pictures off the cameraLast edited by rbljack; 12-11-2008, 04:45 AM.

I forgot to get pictures of the blind on location because we got sidetracked. Here is the first deer taken out of the new blind. My boy is 3 for 3 now....he's hunted 3 years now, and has a buck each year. The first picture is his buck this year, the second picture is his buck last year, and the last picture is one of the buck that I was lucky enough to get last year. Funny thing about that deer...I don't have a single trail cam picture of him. He just happened to show up that day, and we were lucky enough to get him.
