Badlands 2200 as a carry on?

Going on a trip and wondering if a badlands 2200 is too big or even too big of a pita for a carry on? Thanks.

I took a SuperDay. Wouldn't fit in overhead. Flew with it stuffed under my feet. Very uncomfortable.

I use a Kuiu 1850 on just about all my trips and it fits in the overhead just fine
