    How many of y'all remember what a real pine tree looks like?

    Wish there were more in the woods like this , they were good to hunt out of.

              Had one that big in my front yard until a few years ago. Being from NE TX, Loved it. Lost it to pine borers. Lost several that year, much younger/smaller. Sad cause there aren't many pines in our area.

                              We always called them "field" pines because they grew out in the open where the limbs could get sunlight and develop. Plantation pines have to go straight up to get sunlight.
