Ok mechanics I've got one for you

Last night my wife bottomed out her van hard on a dip. This morning there was a small puddle under the van so I thought oil pan. So I took it this morning to have an oil change done and check the pan. It's fine but there is something else dripping and we can't figure out what it is.

It's coming from an area that seems to have no lines under the air filter. It has a coolant kind of smell but it doesn't make sense to me or the guys at the oil place.

    Ideas???

The oil dipstick is clean? Or I mean fresh oil only?

Ok.... take a look at all your other fluids and see if any of them look like that. Brake fluid, coolant, etc. What ever that is it looks pretty icky.

Look inside filter box under the air filter. See if dripping form there.

Looks like oil and antifreeze mixed to me. Hope not though.

Looks like the sludge from bottom of a radiator.

I think it may be power steering fluid. That's kind of how it smells and o just saw it's below the minimum level.

How much fluid do those mounts hold?

So I topped off the PS fluid and added a UV dye to see if that's what was leaking and so far nothing. If fact whatever it was has stopped. The guy at Napa sais he thinks it's coolant and could smell it. That's what I thought too but where it's located seemed odd.

The oil is good and has been check all over so it's not that. The brake fluid is good and has been checked. The trans fluid has a small drip and I'm putting a new pan on tomorrow.

This is above and behind the radiator. Unless the water pump is spraying it out but I checked that and didn't see where it was coming from.

Smeg" that was trapped in the crossmember she bottomed out.
