    Pond management help

Or should I say algae management, pond has a bunch of moss and some weeds. Used herbicide earlier and it worked but now everything came back. It is a smaller pond that I keep full with a well.

      Won't corn meal knock that algae/moss back? I think it's like 50#/acre

Copper sulfate is the solution for filamentous algae. Too much nutrient flow into the ponds.

PondGuys.com They have everything you need and will direct you on how to apply. Be careful killing algae. Only do half of the pond at a time because most herbicides you use remove the oxygen and will kill all your fish.

Copper sulfate for that. That's all filamentus algae. You can use the liquid or they have a granular

We use copper sulphate too. We dug ours out a few years ago and didn't have any algae. Now that it's filled in some it's tough to keep it under control especially in the hot months.

No doubt Copper Sulfate will take care of the problem....
But IMHO it creates a worse one...
Copper Sulfate, is a heavy metal. And it will never leave your echo system...
btw Corn Gluten Meal @ 10 pounds per 1000 square feet will take care of
                            pond scum...
                            Here's a couple pics of mine. 100 % organic....
