This is one of my favorite appatizers for any wild game meat. It gives a sweet/spicy carmelized taste and goes FAST. Even my non-deer eating friends and family love it.
INGREDIENTS
1/2 inch thick by 1inch long pieces of deer or pork
Chili powder
Brown Sugar
Peppered bacon
toothpicks
DIRECTIONS
Soak toothpics in water during preparation so they don't burn on the grill.
Combine chili powder and brown sugar in equal quantities into a bowl
Wrap bite size pieces of game meat in a 1/3 strip of bacon
Secure with a toothpick
Bread the wrapped meat in the chili powder/brown sugar mixture
Place on the grill until the bacon on the outside of the meat is cooked
