It's 2:30 am in Texline Texas. We've been driving since noon my girlfriend and I from southeast Texas. We are heading to steamboat springs Colorado. We will meet up with my cousin (a new Elk hunter) , 2 veteran elk hunters and 2 more new elk hunters. A total of 6 hunters with myself. Total of 7 with my girlfriend. My girlfriend is along for the adventure and as kinda my cook lol. Shes been helping me drive too. The last 2 years I did a live elk hunt and people seem to like it. My way of taking everyone with me on this Bowhunting adventure. I try to be as descriptive as I can and as live up to date as it happens ( pending I have signal ).

I've pulled in to a truck stop, I'm gonna let my head hang down and get a little sleep before I head to raton New Mexico -
I've communicated with 4 of the hunters that have already made it to the cabins. They left at 5 am from southeast Texas. Right off the bat upon leaving bucess someone back into one of the guys trucks ( fender bender ).
My cousin left a day earlier then us ( by himself ) and took the long way around and hit the casinos in Oklahoma and he's Up 800 bucks ! Lucky dog.Comment
