I’ve been on the fence about a wide angle lens lately. Going back and forth between the 16-35 f4 vs the 2.8 II vs the 2.8 III, I didn’t want to spend the money on the III, the II had sufficient complaints about edge to edge sharpness but, the f4 is a great lens, very sharp and it’ll take a filter. But, I wanted something for astrophotography as well.

After reading too many reviews I decided to roll the dice and picked up a Rokinon 14mm F2.8 from Amazon and I found a used copy of the 16-35 f4 with a 1.4x and 2x shipped for a great deal.

Now I just need they clouds to clear out so I can get outside!

Looking forward to examples of the Rokinon at work. The 16-35mm is a fantastic wide landscape lens too. Extremely sharp in my experience.
