At least 9 members of American family killed in Mexico ambush

Whatever the "real" story is, I feel for the "innocents, the children." Like many of the GS, what I've seen in past years and different careers I got used to (or at least could accept it in my brain/soul) but NEVER with kids!! Haunts me to this day as I'll never accept a dead child from a POS adult action!

If one makes the decision to live in harm's way, then as an adult it's your decision however STUPID in my book. But NO excuse for exposing the "innocents" for whatever a Dumb *** choses to do, PERIOD!

For many years we would go across and enjoy Matamoros, Reynosa, Juarez, but those days are long gone and you won't see us even get close to the BS these days. Had a buddy, fed, advise me to not take the chance anymore and I heeded his words and have not been there in a long time.

Make the wrong decision, particularly in the cesspool Mexico, pay the price if it goes wrong and it can and WILL in a heartbeat...maybe your last.

If they want to make a statement against the Lebrone family and think Trump won't come across the boarder to do anything about it. Then yes, I think they would do this.

Seems to me that the Lebrone family are the last thing standing against them controlling everything in the state. There have been raising numbers of incidents between the cartel groups and the Lebrone family. Even for down there, this is beyond the pail, this was not a mistake, it was on purpose and to deliver a message.

I feel sorry for the innocent people involved as well. I am also glad that I live in America. Still the greatest country out there by far. But guys... every person in mexico is NOT a cartel member. There are a lot of people living good happy lives down there. I know several Mexicans and also several natives from Tanzania Africa who are terrified to come to the US because they think every person walking is a physco school shooter. Yet they lead happy content lives in their own country. Which I consider far more dangerous than mine. I don’t Live day to day feeling unsafe here at all. I have been all over the border towns for the last 4-5 years. I’m not saying when I’m there I’m not careful but cmon guys....Live by a few we’ll known rules when you’re in a foreign country quit crying.

This is exactly the case after researching so far...they did not all die together in one ambush. They were in 3 separate vehicles & all targeted for termination miles apart from what I can tell at this point.

The LeBaron family told the cartels Years ago to go pound sand when they kidnapped one of the sons & would not pay ransom as they were worried about it becoming an epidemic...now look where we are.

BLB is reporting the A.G. of Chihuahua that Los Jaguars sect of Sinaloa Cartel are responsible for the LeBaron Family Massacre but they don't go into a lot of details. I see some investigating & some interesting history coming down the pipeline with this story in days to come. IMO, This was a deliberate slaughter from everything I'm gathering directed at the LeBaron's & there is more behind them that I suspect will give us insight as to 'why'.

Sinaloa & La Linea are fighting over the area.

Prayers for this family. Don't expect the Mexican government to do anything about it either. It is so corrupt that it has reached a point of no return.

This isn’t surprising at all. I was telling people earlier that it sounded way to sloppy for the cartels. They may have bystanders in some crossfire here and there but something like this had planning and was done for reason tied to money, drugs, or power

Lol, my thoughts. People that hunt/travel there will forever be in denial. I don't get it, never will. I don't have to get it I guess, but all for a deer? I hear people that travel there all the time say "I've never felt unsafe while in Mexico". LOL! If you ever feel unsafe it's too late. I bet that family didn't feel unsafe either until they were full of bullet holes. I have several buddies that hunt there and kill huge deer. The other day one of them went down with his wife and 7 year old daughter and spent a week. He dropped his wife off 2 miles from camp and let her walk (by herself) to camp because she likes to look for arrow heads. I actually stood there in disbelief as he told me that. This was just after a conversation about how they put a new pipeline across their lease and the cartel were using it to travel so they hired dozers to make it impassible. I love my buddy but that's a special kind of stupid and he's not a stupid guy. He's a plant manager with 250 employees. Unreal....all for a deer???

If the cartels or any other scum figure out who your buddy is, he will likely have problems down there. They love to kid nap people who they think have money or members of families who have money.

I know the Mexican government is very corrupt and has had close ties to all types of illegal crap, not just the cartels. I know if Trump decided to do something about the cartels, he would meet just as much resistance as he is on trying to put the Clintons in prison. There would be a more made up crap and more attempts at impeaching or just assassinating him. From what I have heard, the Clintons have or did have ties to drug trafficking. Most likely they still are connected, if so, you can bet they would put every bit of effort into stopping or hindering Trump from doing anything. I would like to see Trump, just call up the generals and say we are going to Mexico. Let the locals inform the Mexican government we are there. They are never going to give us the ok the really do anything, other than maybe send a few American troops, who are escorted by Mexican forces and only allowed to go where the Mexicans let them. The reason, we should not ask for permission, just go.

You let fear dictate your small time on this earth... have fun in your bubble but what another grown adult does with his life is his to do. You live in your small walls I’ll enjoy the earth the lord gave to us to see. Some of my best memories in this life are down there with my dad and friends so to you it may be stupid, but to us we’ll enjoy it. There were how many people killed in a Walmart not to long ago?
