South Plains Archery Club July 2015

Just a quick reminder that we have a meeting on Thursday July 2nd to work on our 2 day shoot. The meeting will take place at Lubbock Indoor Archery on 19th Street @ 6:00 pm
The shoot this month will take place on July 18th and 19th. I'm sure we are going to need a bunch of help shredding, weed eating and setting up the course. All help is appreciated!

Details on the 2 day shoot coming up this weekend

Since this is the month for the 2 day tournament with 40 targets we will start setting up on Wednesday July 15th and will finish up on Thursday July 16th.
With the rain we've had this year we need people who can weed eat lanes and if anyone has a shredder please bring it!!!!!

The tournament registration will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday. Score cards are due in by 2:00 Sunday with an award ceremony and door prize drawings around 2:30. This is a good time to brush off that old equipment and come shoot multiple classes or a fun round!
We will have a night shoot on Saturday, registration between 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm with the shoot beginning at dark.

We will have hamburgers and sausage wraps and will be selling raffle tickets for the A/R as well as taking donations to assist with the medical needs of our member so bring some extra cash if you can

We hope everyone will come out to shoot this month and bring a friend!

Do you have to shoot both days?

No sir you can shoot one or the other and you can shoot multiple classes. It's basically just like a normal shoot but it will give people the opportunity to shoot later in the day (you know, when it's really, really, hot ) or they can shoot on Sunday.

Course will be fun and super challenging! Come test your skills against the "Iron Hog" it could be worth a $50.00 gift certificate for you from Lubbock Indoor Archery!
We hope to see everyone there tomorrow. Registration begins at 9:00 am
Be sure and stay or come back for the night shoot! Anyone can shoot in the light but it takes special talent to shoot at night....do you possess that talent?
