I've still got broadheads to mount and sharpen...a couple of my least favorite things to do. We have our 3rd grand baby on the way and is due right around the time this hunt is scheduled. I hope they schedule the c-section ahead of time!!

The Black and Tan is my favorite. Last year I bought a case of each. Remind me when we get closer to the hunt and I'll throw an extra case of the Black and Tan in the truck for you.

Only behind Slayer, of course.

Not only is he in front of me, but I did see him at work, and I'd pick him over me in a heartbeat.

I think we should recruit about five or six guys to show up just to video all the crap that happens during the hunts! I know of at least two or three events in particular that would have been awesome to catch on video!

I'm not too far from there, and while I have no particular cameraman skills, I am very experienced at holding binoculars and rifles steady.

If you need a non-hunting helper who would be eager to learn video skills and enjoy the hunt vicariously, I'm your huckleberry.

Philip, after spending my working life in the Rockies, and retiring back to Texas, I take perverse joy in telling you that I have had to fire up the A/C each of the last two days.

Ain't many old people in the Colorado mountains. :-)

Sorry. And carry on. :-)
