There are plenty out here. If I shot straighter then I should have two pictures instead of one. You will no doubt see javis and have a good time.

This was my pups first tracking job. I hit the deer at the last rib and it exited behind the shoulder on the other side. The arrow had zero blood on it so I backed out and went in around 8:30 the next morning. There was a light blood trail and I gave her time to trail but she acted clue less even though she ran on the mock blood trail at home the night before.
I spotted the deer about 15 yards ahead and just stood still till she found it she was timid at first but with a little coaxing she got excited!

Man, it has been two years since I picked up this trad. habit. I got rid of my wheel bow this season and went straight traditional. The only thing I have killed so far is a volleyball and basketball, not counting the numerous kill shots on my 3D target. It was a horrible year for most of us in OK, at least in my area. That being said, I only deer hunt in October during the bow only season. If there are ducks or geese, I put the bow down. I will be chasing spring turkeys, trying to get my wife her first turkey ever, but I will try with the recurve again this season. I hunted my butt off in October, and I didn't even SEE a deer on any trip, including proven feeders. Rough season for sure, except for the birds.

I shot me a javelina while hunting with Bob Sarrels, Bisch, Trick, Big Russ and a few others down at Laredo. Great group of folks and a lot of fun.

Yes sir not only Bisch but Nathan, Trick, and Bob had to help when they saw how pitiful my form was lol.

Considering how bad the weather was and at best you all had only a day and a half of good weather......out of 6 hunters we had 12 javis hit or down and if I'm not mistaken 8 or 9 hogs hit. Oh and lets not forget Lane who had 2 rabbits as his first trad kills, it was fantastic.

No! It is a string tracker mounted to a bow light! The bow light is for the feral hogs at night, and I never got to use it on this trip!
