My 13 year old daughter is going in for a biopsy in the morning. We took her to an orthodontist for a consultation about braces and the xray they took showed a small mass in the front of her lower jaw bone near her chin. They sent the xrays to an oral surgeon and he suggested we have it looked at, so my wife is taking her in the morning. they'll put her to sleep, and I'm assuming take a core sample...said it'd be a week to 10 days before we get results. Praying that it's nothing but a cyst!
