I'm thankful for everything....at 55 you realize that life is short and you won't look very long to find someone who has it much worse!

Been spending time away from the ranches with one of the coolest gals. She loves animals, loves to fish with me. And she even loves driving big farm tractors and talking about outdoor related stuff. To be able to talk about mechanic work with a chick is so awesome. So nice to be off work and not chasing loose cattle on public roads.

I've seen lots of good deer at BigThicketBoys' deerstand. I don't think he even remembers where his spot is!

Woohoo!

I had been a little jealous of my wife getting to coach my daughters in school (wife is the volleyball coach and our oldest daughter is a sophomore), and me, being a boys coach (football and golf), missing out on that opportunity. Well, our girls basketball coach left at the end of the year and opened the door for me to be the head girls basketball coach. I'm looking forward to the change and opportunity to spend more time with my daughter and see if we can get the basketball team rolling a little better!!

I’m 42, And have no idea where to start. God has blessed me by allowing me to be self employed, work 3 days a week, own 2 homes, 1 in Willis, 1 in the country with 30acres& ponds, the BEST wife anyone could ask for, 11 kids that are good kids & love God. And life just keeps getting better, had a grand baby the other day & another one on the way. Now I can do what I love to do, spoil’em & send’em home. Couldn’t do that with my own kids cause I have to live with them!

Great thread. So many praising God. The reason for everything. Life is good even when it's tough. So many blessings.

I love this country and love Texas and hope more will turn to God for their needs. Please pray for our politicians as they are letting our love of God to be taken away and our country and our state is showing the affects.

Have a beautiful wife, two amazing kiddos, project I've been on for 2+ years is getting closer to finishing, new house in DFW is making good progress and will be complete in Oct. If I had anything to complain about it would be that I wish my house was going to be done sooner, I am excited about the new chapter of life!!

Well at 65 I wake up with usual aches and pains but I wake up. My Mom will be 88 in December and she is doing well. I have a great church family. God is good all the time.

Everyday since we met, my wife and I start our day with prayer together and end every night with prayer and every prayer starts with thanks to Him. We serve a big God and I think He would be pleased with the many thanks to Him on here from all of you!
