Well guess I tarnished Mother's Day here by complaining but I can't stand hearing technical commentary on pro baseball by someone who never played pro baseball, particularly a woman. [emoji849]

There are probably hundreds of people who have some level of experience in pro baseball that could do a much better job and actually bring something to the commentary yet they got passed over because of the PC world we live in.

There are plenty of analyst, writers, reporters, announcers, etc. that make a living on baseball that never played pro ball. Your qualifier of "especially a woman" shows that you really don't care about "experience".

Side note: Mendoza played softball and graduated from Stanford. Pretty sure she is more qualified than most of the guys calling games.
