Deer corn prices

I have never have had any problems with Academy corn and I like the 40# bags. My old ares don't have the strength I used to have. Especially after my stroke a few years back.

About 2 hours ago at Brooksires in Midlothian it was 6.99. I was all set to pick some up for that 5.99 price. Went to Boyce Feed in Waxahachie and they quoted 7.60. So back to Brooksires.

When you buy at Academy/Wal mart you usually get bad corn

Buy from a feed store or someone who buys it from the field and it will be clean

This isn’t always correct.
We were buying 50 pound bags from the feed store for almost $9 a bag, expecting it to be cleaner corn than Academy/walmart. Nope. It was very dirty corn, and kept jamming up the feeders. Have had no issues with the corn from walmart or academy jamming a feeder.

Buc-ee's Fort Worth

As of 8/31/18 Buc-ee's Fort Worth deer corn was $5.99/50 lb bag. Good quality.

$5.95 at Brown's in Lampasas. It was pretty clean when I poured it in the feeders.

On that same day, corn at the Madisonville Buc-ee's ws $6.49/50lbs. Morton's in Hallettsville was $6.25 last year. They are now $7.25
