Traditional FSC Week 32

Going to work on hitting various size targets from a sitting or kneeling (one- or two knees) stance from hunting ranges.

On an 8.5"x11" sheet of paper -- as shown below -- make three 3" circles that will be shot from 12 yards. Then trace around a quarter, a nickel, and a penny. The coins will be shot from 10 yards. (Kids shoot from 6- and 5- yards, respectively).

Large circles worth $1, with coins worth 25 cents, 5 cents and 1 cent. Goal is to hit targets to get the highest total amount of money in six shots. Touching line counts in favor of shooter. Three days' of tries allowed, with best total entered. Tie-breaker will be highest total on earliest try.

May use same entries in the TAF challenge as well.

Yes. One shot per circle, per day.

And for Day 2 and Day 3 shots, you can use the same target -- just "x"-over the previous shot holes.

Sitting with the recurve... 10 yard shots were all over, 12 yards were a little better. My son said it was a good thing we don’t have to eat spare change. (His sense of humor knows no bounds when it comes to Mom’s shooting)

From here to hunting season the vast majority of my practice is seated. All 20 yards and under. Most 15 yards and under.
