Has anyone in East Texas had success feeding bagged cotton seed?

I’ve tried for 2 years in multiple properties.... not a single seed has been eaten. I get it for about $8.50 a bag.... about same as protein. I put that money into protein they WILL eat it

I know some guys. Itís taken about a year for them to get used to it. I currently have had some out since January.

Just put some out yesterday for a trial run. Local feed store started carrying it so figured I would see what happens.

I put a sack in a covered trough Sunday with a camera on it. Deer have been eating a lot of alfalfa from the same trough. Hopefully they will try the cotton seed.

If you donít mind me asking what feed store. Been thinking about doing it on my property. Kinda hesitant.
