Looking to have a local dozer operator in the Hebbronville area do some blind/feeder sendero clearing x 6(probably 100-150yds each). Some would be just clean up of existing and some would be new cuts. Typical South Texas brush, no huge trees or anything. Assume they charge by the hour/day? If so, what do you typically see for this kind of work? Thanks.

I'd get one to come out and quote it for you so there's no surprises.
It's typically going to be a day work type deal and they might even want a minimum amount of days.
depending on how clean you want it, and what size dozer they are using will have a big impact on how much they can do in a day, and how much they will charge.
there are guys out there using anything from small D4 dozers up to older D8/D9. they all have various rates.

The landowner gave us some names of local guys to contact, I was just trying to get a feel for what they generally charge. He said we could contract someone to come out and clear some feeder senderos as well as clean up some existing ones. He would also like to have whoever comes out do about a day's worth of work for him as well. Like I said, just trying to get ballpark figures for what this kind of work costs.
